Academy of Lions is located at 1083 Dundas St. West, Toronto, Ontario M6J 1W9. The closest major intersection is Ossington and Shaw St, just a 5 minute walk from OCR on Ossington Ave.

Natalie Di Croce is a Registered Physiotherapist who brings a holistic and patient-centered approach to her work each day. She received her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2013, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University.

Natalie has been in private practice for over a decade. She carefully listens to each patient’s needs, providing an assessment and treatment plan that aligns with their individual lifestyle and personal goals. Her approach focuses on more than just pain, but rather on how she can promote optimal health outcomes and improve each person’s quality of life, ensuring her patients are actively engaged in their own health journey. In her work, Natalie focuses on manual therapy, joint and soft tissue mobilization, acupuncture, active exercise based rehabilitation and functional analysis.

When Natalie is not working with patients, she loves to travel, practice Pilates, and do DYI home projects.

Co-owner, Dr. Glenn Paul Uy completed his schooling at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has been practicing as a chiropractor in the Toronto area since 2005. He is a full-body certified ART® provider and is a registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.

Dr. Glenn’s focus lies in the treatment and prevention of physical injuries, integrating techniques such as Active Release Technique ® , acupuncture, spinal manipulation, and exercise rehabilitation. He uses functional movement assessments to find the root of the problem and address the underlying causes. He is able to relieve the symptoms but also help to prevent reoccurrence. Dr. Glenn enjoys educating his patients about physiology and movement patterns.

Dr. Glenn has a special interest in working with dancers and athletes. He has years of experience treating CrossFit athletes, ballroom, contemporary and ballet dancers, cyclists, soccer players, circus performers, Olympic lifters, and basketball players, just to name a few.

Dr. Glenn began dancing Salsa in 2004 and has performed and competed in Canada, United States, and Europe for the past 10 years. When Dr. Glenn is not in the clinic or dancing, you can find him lifting weights, doing CrossFit, snowboarding, golfing, playing basketball, or spending time with his wife, two sons, and dog.

Dr. Ben de Villena is a graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He holds a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Health Science from York University, where he was a member of the Dean’s List and Golden Key International Honours Society. Dr. Ben’s journey was inspired by his father who overcame chronic knee pain through Chiropractic care and functional exercises. Ever since then, he made it his mission to challenge people beyond their perceived limitations.

Dr. Ben is certified in both Active Release Therapy (ART) and Medical Acupuncture. His ability to motivate, coupled with his passion for optimizing performance through activities such as running, biking and swimming has helped many patients in the past achieve and exceed their goals. Dr. Ben is dedicated to helping you grow, expand your capabilities, and get to the next level of health. To him, anything is possible!

Fun fact: Dr. Ben was a founding Toronto coach with Orangetheory Fitness and has taught over 1000 classes.

Dr. Ben brings both education and personal experiences to help you thrive. He previously worked with special needs populations at West Park Health Care, and he has seen first-hand what it takes to go from being bedridden to doing jumping jacks. Dr. Ben will give you personalized guidance to help you succeed, no matter what your current level of health is. He believes mastering key movements is essential to building a strong foundation into your later years of life. He is motivated by the body’s ability to continuously adapt and get stronger, which is crucial to overall well-being and successful aging. He makes it a priority to encourage everyone to do something active everyday.

Dr. Ben loves to run, bike, swim, hang out with his cat, and read books during his spare time. In 2022, Dr. Ben became an Ironman and has a few more races on the way!
